So the night before Jack's first birthday, I had just picked Matt up from work, and Jack had his bottle in his car seat (which was currently facing backwards) and this usually wasn't a big deal. Well, except for the occasional turning it upside down and watching it drip out, not really a big deal. Anyway, while I was driving, Matt was telling me a story and I suddenly got a really bad feeling, call it the Spirit, mother's intuition, or whatever you want, it was really strong. I asked Matt to check if his bottle was upside down. It was upside down, but it was already all gone and I had JUST given it to him! When Matt picked it up, this is what we discovered!!! Jack had bitten off the top of his nipple, and was chomping on the other piece like it was a piece of gum. I TOTALLY freaked out because I was driving and couldn't get it out of his mouth! I made Matt dig it out with his dirty UPS hands! EWWWWW, I know!! But I didn't care at the moment, I didn't want him to choke on it! Anyway, he did it again a couple of days later, but it was at home and it wasn't as big of a piece.So, the outcome of this situation was, NO MORE BOTTLES!!!!! (but it kinda was perfect timing, I was gonna wein him after his birthday anyway :) )
