I have a question for all you parents out there...Why in the world do we spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on toys as cool as this, when our children are much happier playing with something like this...?
A freakin pen!!!
Jack was being clingy ALL day today (he's still getting those blasted molars) and I tried to get him to play with all his toys, with no luck.
Right about the time I was done making dinner and Matt walked in the door, I found a huge giant pen and gave it to him to play with ( Jack not Matt). He couldn't have been more thrilled! You would've thought I just gave him the coolest most expensive toy any child could ever ask for! Well, for Jack, anything that has buttons, (clicks like a pen in this case) or if it even looks like buttons (such as a lid to a soda cup), it is the best toy on earth!! But yet, when birthdays and Christmas roll around, we still buy all the toys!!! Go figure.
