How big is a grapefruit, really?

Well, it's as big as the cyst I have on my left ovary!! That's how big! My right one is fine. It's volume was 7.1 ml and my left one was 76.8 ml. Yesterday I went into the dr for a follow up appt. After I had the baby I went in for my 6 week check up and my uterus hadn't come back down, he said it was as if I was still 12 weeks pregnant. Also I had a uterine infection. So he put me on antibiotics and wanted to follow up 4 weeks later. So that's what I was there for yesterday. I happened to mention to him that I had 3 periods last month and REALLY bad cramping, it was mostly right behind my c-section incision. So he pushed on my belly and when he did, I 'bout jumped out of the stirrups!! So he decided to do an ultrasound, and lo and behold, there it was! It was amazingly HUGE!! I saw it right away, which says a lot cause I can never make out anything on the ultrasound. He took me off my birth control and gave me a shot of progesterone and pelvic rest! Again! He says if it doesn't go down in a couple of weeks, we'll need to operate on it! I swear! If I hadn't seen it for myself, I would have been CERTAIN he was just trying to milk my insurance for all it's worth! Or he just really really likes me! So, that' s the latest saga to the Brianna Allen medical history! I swear I should be in medical books!
