The week of my birthday we had planned a trip to do a business meeting in Inkom, ID. We weren't going to take any of the kids because we didn't think we would have our van. (as explained in the post below.) Anyway, our first stop was in Cedar City to stay with one of my besites Amy and her cute little boys. Felps is the same age as Jack and Jetter is the same age as Joe. This was Jack playing on the deck in the rain. He was in heaven that he could 1). be out of the car and 2) to be outside!!!

The next day we went to the park that had a beautiful creek running through the middle of the running track! Oh how the boys just loved being outside!! We don't get much of that down here!!
I tried to get this zoomed in but it didn't work. But the boys were running on the trail!!

The water was ICE cold, so this is as far as Jack would get it in. Which was fine by me!! Amy's boys, though jumped in head first!!! I wished I woulda got pics of that!!! I think my boys sense my anxiety a bit too much!!
Then off we went for another 6 hours to Inkom. This is Tyler TRYING to get the boys to go down in the sleeping bag down the stairs!! Kash was the only taker. My boys would have NOTHING to do with it!!! Tyler was SOOO good with the boys. He was trying so hard to understand what autism was and was REALLY concerned if it was contagious :)
This was at Jody's family reunion. It always seems I crash those Nelson Fam reunions!! Good thing they love me so much...right?!
Jack did sooo good! We didn't have one single meltdown!!! Well, outside of the car. But any child would have a hard time with a 13 hour drive ONE WAY!!
Jack played so well with all the kids this day. They didn't even know him, but were so great with him. I didn't even pose this picture!! I just told them to turn around and say "cheese"

And finally, my birthday lunch at the Pizza Factory!! Traveling in the car all day with the kids was not my ideal way to spend my 30th birthday, but at LEAST I got my Pizza Factory!!!
And so did the boys!! We had a lot of fun (outside of the car)!!! We would LOVE to live in Idaho!!! Maybe one day.... I do have more pics, but I am trying to figure out how to get them off my phone!!! Till then...(and yes, we did fit in a business meeting in there too. A special thanks to Jody and Billy for letting Matt and I use their house! Thanks for all those who attended)
