Caution...

That may be an understatement!!!

So yesterday was my dr appt. I have been having a lot of contractions...still. My cervix is now measuring at 2.8 mm! 4 weeks ago my doc said if it got less than 2.9 he would sew it shut. But NOW it's too dangerous. Messing with my cervix at all could be absolutely dangerous! Once it gets to 2.5 he says I WILL BE HOSPITALIZED!!!

Soooo, more bed rest!!

AND drugs! Lots of drugs.

Except, my dr has read some studys saying that Terbutaline (the drug I was on with BOTH boys) has been linked to Autism. Hmmm, that was news to me. However, I am not willing to take the chance! So we are trying a new drug. Called Nifedipine. It does, however, lower my blood pressure. And it's already on the low side. So I get lots of headaches. Another problem...Insurance doesn't like it. So they don't wanna pay for it. We are in the process of getting a prior auth, but for now I just have to take a lower dose more frequently.

The reason for the frustration (if you have to ask) is I can't take this any more!! I have a loooong time before this baby is ready to be born. Long time that I have to just sit on my butt! And have to have people do EVERYTHING for me!

I. HATE . IT.

Thank goodness I have such wonderful family and ward! We are starting to have some meals brought in. My sis takes Jack to and from therapies and also helps me with the boys. My SIL came and CLEANED my house today. That was waaaay needed!! Not to mention Matty is beyond Mr Incredible!!!

I have another appt on Friday to see what kind of progress I have made. I will keep everyone updated.
