Happy Memorial Day

We had a very laid back weekend...well week for that matter. Matt was off all week and we just relaxed and kicked back at home and around town. It was fun to have him home. We just did a bunch of fun little outings like the mall, dinner, lunch, breakfast...etc. (We ate out a lot!) Matt took me on a date Friday AND Saturday. It was fun!! He wanted to go to a resort, but I am a cheap skate these days and couldn't bring myself to pay money to stay somewhere in town when I can sleep for free at my house. I know, it's fun to get away, but lately I've been kinda a tight wad!!! Matt LOVES it! (not really) Plus, it was rainy all weekend and we wouldn't have been able to go swimming or anything! Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves greatly at home with the kids (we only had Tyla the first part of the week--but daddy and Jack had some good bonding time). Matt really had a hard time going to work today. Can't say I blame him!! It is good to be back in the swing of things :)
