Why oh why oh why! My pregnancy has kicked my butt royally in the migraine department! I have been having at LEAST two a week! When I was pregnant with Jack, they went away after the first trimester, but this has only been worse since my second trimester! And they are A LOT harder to get rid of this time around. It makes it hard to be a good wife and mommy. Last time, I only had Tyla a couple days so I could sleep it off. Now I obviously have Jack everyday and I have Tyla a lot more, so its soooo hard! I have tried EVERYTHING!! If anyone has any other ideas please feel free to share! I hate taking drugs while I'm pregnant, but if I don't, then seriously I can NOT function! I ended up in the ER last night because it would not go away!Poor Matt has seriously had to put up with a lot! He is such a trooper. Absolutely the BEST husband in the world!! He never complains about me asking him to do soooo much!! I love you so much babe!!! Also, my family! I want to thank everyone for all the help they have given me with the kiddos. Especially my mom and dad! Thanks for keeping my sick little boy all night so I could get some well needed rest. I did feel really bad that he had a fever of 103 this morning.
Thanks for taking such good care of all of us! I love you guys!
By the way, I think he is doing a little better. He was playing more tonight and actually "ate" a little more. His fever feels like it's down too. We'll see in the morning, I guess...
I welcome ANY suggestions....

Beez, I had the same problem in my third trimester. I would first thing in the morning take two tylenol and drink a fatty caffinated pop before it came and usually that worked. Or at least it wouldn't turn into a full blown migraine, it was just your everyday headache. My blood sugar was really low too which my docter said could have been causing them so I ate some type of candy during the day too. It seemed to help. Sorry thats no fun. Good luck I hope you figure out something that works for you.
That stinks..I get migrains too..but I am so sick in my pregnancy I didnt notice? My only thing to tell you my Dr. told me to take a Unisom pill at night.. like 1/4 of a pill at first then up the dose as needed! It worked for me, I would sleep hard but it doesnt knock you out..it worked for me!

Hey there,
Wow, I have wondered how you are doing? I hardly ever see or talk to Stef...so I never get caught up on old friends.
Congrats on your pregnancy. I hope all goes well and better than the last. I had headaches every day for the first 3-4 months and nothing stayed down. Its a good thing it is all worth it in the end. It was good to hear from you and see your cute little family.
keep in touch.

MASSAGE!!! That is what you need. Everytime Rusty has a headache I massage just his neck and he feels better right away.
If you wanted to drive way out hear I would be happy to do a little something. I can't do a full hour, because of well you know, but I would be happy to do a little something. I hate headaches it is the worst. Good Luck!
Hey Brianna, I hate migraines! I've heard that putting a cold cloth or an ice pack on the back of your neck works. Oh man, I feel for you! I'm sorry that you have to go through that! hey our blog will be private soon and we'd love to keep in touch with you so please leave us your email address so we can invite you to view our blog.
Oh, if you see Sharon anytime soon can you tell her to send me her email address too. Thanks, and I forgot to tell that maintaining a good blood sugar level throughout the day helps me not get headaches. So I always try to have some protein with my meals and snacks cause the protein helps to not raise blood sugar. Anyways, hope this helps.
Gee....that stinks. I don't get migrains, thankfully, but I know several who do. Have you tried eleminating certain things in your diet. Like I know MSG is a trigger, or peanuts for some, or chocolate is another I've heard of. And have you tried Chiropractic care. My dad is a Chiropracter so I am all about it. But if your neck is out of alignment, it could be pinching a nerve and causing terrible migrains. I hope you are able to figure this out! Email me if you have an more questions.
