Every year on Labor Day weekend, we have our Blair family reunion. It was so much fun. Last year Jack was still little and we didn't have Tyla, so this year was a lot more entertaining for us. Or should I say, um, busy! Tyla loved loved loved just playing, sitting, rolling and eating the dirt!! Literally every 4 or 5 steps she would take, she would have to stop to play with the dirt. I stopped counting the times I had to wipe her hands and face...in fact, I stopped wiping them all together until it was time to eat, or if they were just really bad!
Jack, on the other hand, Hates his hands being dirty!! Which is why it blows my mind why he tried so dang hard to play in ALL the mud or water puddles he could find! Seriously, my whole day consisted of pulling him out of the mud holes!! I finally just let him play in them, it was easier, and it seemed to make them not as much appealing to him, I guess.
Matt was such a great little daddy and uncle! All the little kids loved to play with him. Jack tried to follow him everywhere, even when it was POURING down rain and I was trying to keep him under our little tarps. Matt took VERY good care of the kids because I was trying really hard to not have contractions. It didn't work, though. I feel bad that I didn't interact more with all of my family members, but I was doing my "best" to take it easy. And of course, as soon as we got home, I woke up with a MASSIVE migraine!!! I could tell it was coming, and plus Jack was getting sick, so we came home a day early.
We had A LOT of fun!! Thanks to EVERYONE who made it such a memorable trip!! WE love You!!!
