So to top off this wonderful week we have all had, we decided what better way to end it than spending a little time in the ER!!Jack had a little growth under his eye that we have been waiting to get into the dermatologist to have checked out. It was really small, but it bothered me. This last week it has DOUBLED in size! And with the events of this week, it was put on the back burner.
Well, at 3:30 this morning, Jack woke up crying. He would start and stop so I let it go for a little bit. Well, after about 1/2 hour, I went to check on him and found him covered in blood!!! It was literally ALL over his face! His eyes were crusted shut with dried blood and it was still dripping down his chin! Apparently he scratched off his growth or it burst or something! It was GUSHING!!! We tried putting pressure on it for 30 min. but it didn't even slow down. So off to the ER!! These pics are of him kinda cleaned up. It was so sad.
This was him when we got home. The black stuff is all over from the silver nitrate they used to cauterize it.
FYI: Those here in the East Mesa area, do NOT take your children to Banner Baywood!!! When we got there, Jack was bleeding profusely and they told me to wait there was one more person in front of me. That "person" than came up and said, "um...you need to take the baby first!!" Then when the dumb a@# doctor came in, he said, "well you just need to put pressure on it" I told him we did and his response was, " well, I'm not gonna stitch it up!" I then asked him if he could cauterize it and he said, "ya, I guess we could do that." Oh my heck!!! I love that I needed to tell the dr what to do!!! Oh and Jack still has finger marks on his arms from where the dr was holding him down!! Can this week PLEASE be over?!?!

Oh sad, poor kiddo. I hate seeing my kids upset and hurt. I would have wanted to punch that dr in the face, what a punk.
oh how scary!! im so sorry to hear of the stupid dr!! gosh that is my worst! well glad to know he is ok after all that...poor guy!! nothing worse than seeing your kid covered in blood!!!

WAAAAAHHHH! If you didn't catch that, it was me crying for you. Sometimes you just need to go to sleep and know that when you wake up it will be a new day. Poor little guy. We had a similiar experience with a dr. at the urgent care on Power and Brown who put 7 staples in Bobby's head with out numbing him. It was very traumatic. I am so sorry.
When it rains it pours.... I am so sorry that you are having such a tough week. Call me if you want to talk, I am pretty much confined to bed also, so when you need to cry, call me.

Oh my gosh..poor kid...I feel so bad for him. BRIANNA---YOU can wear whatever you want. I know you have something hidden in that house of yours..Just pull out a satin sheet and tie it around your body !!! hahaha...
oh my gosh i feel so bad for jack and happy that you told the Dr what to do you are smarter than that stupid doctor
