What a special day

First, this was the first time EVER Tyla let me do her down WITH a flat iron AND headband! She looked SOOO beautiful! She was so excited to show her teacher her "bow"!

Then as we were sitting in Sacrament and as Testimony meeting started, a little kid got up first. When she saw him, she said, "I wanna go up" First thought in my head...OH GREAT! SOMEONE HAS TO GO WITH HER. Which is SO not the thought I should have had! I told her to ask her daddy. He said no. I told her to ask Mama Check (Matt's mom who is now in our ward) she said ask her daddy. Of course, that got the Spirit in my heart all stirred up. Dang kids. (LOL) So then there was a dead silence. No one was getting up. Tyla was busy with Mama Check coloring and reading books, so I thought maybe she forgot. NOPE. In the dead silence, she yells, "MY TURN MOMMY?" So I did the right thing. I took her up and helped her bear her testimony. Then I turned around and Jack was right there with us. He had to have a turn. I think he really only wanted to scream in the mic like he does at music therapy. BUT, he actually said it very nicely. I am not sure anyone could even understand them, but the Spirit was there. It was so sweet. I just wonder if this is going to be a monthly occurrence...we shall see.

Oh and my boys kept kissing me (at the same time) all during church!! I am NOT complaining! It was a sweet special day today.
