This is why we go through all the struggles!!!

This is it!!! Having moments like this! The other day Tyla kept making Baby Joe laugh. It started with her not really doing anything, he would just get so excited to see her. It was so cute!! This is why I love being a mommy!! (by the way...she is saying "get him!!!"...if you couldn't tell)

In church yesterday, it was everything I needed to hear! Of course, it was about motherhood. I have been struggling a lot lately about what kind of a mother I have been to my kids. I feel like I have been spreading myself too thin and giving ALL I have to them and to my dear hubby. One of the things the speaker said just kinda hit me a litter harder than usual. He said, "you can't get water from a well that is dry!" I just started bawling, of course, and just realized that EVERY mother needs to remember they are their own person too!!

It's so easy to get caught up in all our daily activities and all the household chores and errands and such. We DO need to remember that motherhood is held sacred to Heavenly Father. We are regarded with the angels! Without us, no one would be able to raise the children of this dispensation. Our own latter day Armies of Helaman! I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have been given. To raise our sweet, special babies in this gospel. To teach them right from wrong. To teach them where they came from and why they are here. And that we can be a family forever!

I love being a mother more than ANYTHING!!! I had the best mother's day I couldv'e asked for! My kids were wonderful! My husband was incredible!! They got me an iPod (my first one ever!) a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers, no poopy diapers!!!, all meals made and cleaned up, waited on hand and foot...it was AMAZING!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day as well!!! :)

It is so true that we often forget about taking care of ourselves. When we do finally take care of ourselves, we (I) feel guilty. Thank you for writing what you did. I wasn't at church on Sunday so it was nice to hear a little bit about what was talked about. :) BTW, I also love it when the kids make each other laugh and smile. It definitely warms the heart.
