Thanksgiving Weekend

Well, it turns out I didn't take ANY pictures on Thanksgiving Day. Whoops! Anyway, we started off the day with a big breakfast at my house, with my mom, sisters and sis-in-law and ALL the grandkids (Matt too) Then 2 of my sisters (who are married to brothers) went off to their in-laws for their Thanksgiving lunch. The rest of us stuck around and ate...some MORE with each other!! We finished the night off at Mama and Grandpa Checks for some MORE dessert! (And can you believe I have only gained ONE pound this month at my OB appt?!)

Then my sisters and I braved Black Friday, like we do every year. Only this year was different. We decided to go to Wal-Mart (which we NEVER do and will NEVER do again!!) at mid-night and then off to Kohls that opened at 3 and then Kmart that opened at 5. We usually do Target too, but since we started WAY earlier than usual, me and my pregnant self and Cassie (my sis) and her pregnant self, were DONE at 6:30 AM. Not to mention, Matt had to leave for work at 7:30! All in all, I would say we did pretty good! I even stayed $50 UNDER my budget!! Right on, I know!!

Matt only had to work until 4:00 on Friday, so we had a little family night!! We decided to go to the Temple lights, only we didn't know it was the opening night and they had a whole presentation. So here are some pics from the kids LOVING the lights!!

We ended up going again the next night with their cousins, but the kids didn't mind. They loved the lights so much!! Which is great because last year Jack was TERRIFIED of them! Oh, the kids are LOVING this Christmas season! So much fun now that they are getting big!!
