It really is ridiculous why the numbers keep getting higher and higher!! Just four years ago when our children (well, Tyla and Jack) were diagnosed it was 1 out of 150 kids were being diagnosed!! Now it's 1 out of 88?! And that's the NATIONAL average?! RI-DICULOUS!!!
Oh and don't even get me started on Autism Speaks! Such a corrupt organization! My friend Jess posted a link to a blog that explains WHY most of us IN the autism community DON'T like them!! It's a very good read!! Go HERE.
I HATE to say we "Celebrate" Autism Awareness Day" but I enjoy having a day devoted to spreading awareness! And for HEAVEN'S SAKES can we cut out the bull c**p and admit that there is "something" in those vaccines among a million other things that CAN trigger this DISORDER! I also HATE when people call it a disease! You can't "catch" it, it can't be treated "medically" (all though BIO-MEDICAL treatments have done WONDERS!!!!!)
ANYWAY, I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open so, I'll type more later!
