Yard Sale For Our Babies!!!

As you may know, Tyla and Jack have autism. Tyla was diagnosed last Sept (although, we kinda knew it LONG before then) and when she was diagnosed, it opened our eyes to our little Jackers. I have always had a "gut feeling" if you will about Jack and his development. But of course, you talk yourself out of it saying "not my kid" "he's just a boy, they develop slower" and so on and so on. Well, he too, suffers from this life altering disorder! It's been a TOUGH road, to say the least!! Not a day goes by that I ask myself if I can do this. How can I be the mother of 2 autistic kids and a preemie?! How are we so blessed? Well, believe it or not, we ARE so blessed!!

We have the opportunity to take Jack and Tyla to a DAN! doctor. (defeat autism now) They focus on the actual symptoms of autism, not just the autism itself. Healing the child from the inside out, basically. Most autistic children have all of the same symptoms...such as, gut problems (constant diarrhea/constipation or both!!) yeast overgrowth, allergies, dark circles under the eyes, rashes and many, many more. The theory is help them feel better and they WILL improve!! Which makes sense, if you feel like CRAP all the time, you wouldn't be able to sit still long enough to learn anything either!!

Anyway, these Dr's don't take any insurance at all. So EVERYTHING is out of pocket! Combine that with all their special diet foods, special autism vitamins and minerals,diapers for all three kids (yes, Tyla is still in diapers and we do NOT get ANY help with that dept,...also the state will pay for Jack's diapers, but not until he is 3!!) and Baby Joe's special formula he's on (which costs us over $200 a month in itself) it adds up to be way more than we can handle!!!

So a fundraising we go:) We are going to have a yard sale this weekend (Thurs, Fri AND Sat) at my moms house. Depending on how well we do, and of course what the weather will be like the next weekend, we'll do one then too! We would like to ask any of you who would like to donate any items for this yard sale to let us know! There is no better cause, then the cause of our children's medical care!!!
