Glee...Imagine

I watched this and it just gave me chills!! I loved it! My dream is for Tyla and Jack to be accepted by their peers! It hurts my heart thinking about all the adversity they are more than likely going to face as they get older. Kids are mean. Especially girls. So I just pray that they don't know when someone is being mean to them. I have already seen that in Tyla. She was playing with another little girl her same age, and she was being REALLY mean to Tyla! I had to intervene several times, but the thing is...Tyla NEVER seemed to notice! She just kept playing with her! And I was so grateful that she wasn't able to read her expressions, or facial cues (part of autism). She never knew she was being mean to her! I did, though. That was hard. But we just have to remember we can't protect them from everything...as hard as we may try!! And believe me, WE TRY!!! So here's to hoping the world can become more tolerant of our special needs kiddos!! :-P
