Poor Baby Joe...

So this is where we are at AGAIN !!!

Pretty much I can just say "ditto" to this entire post. Baby Joe has RSV...AGAIN! Poor baby has been sick FOREVER!! The night before Jack went into the hospital for his EEG, I left Joe with my mom because we had to be at PCH at 7:30 AM and it's an hour away (give or take with rush hour) An hour after we dropped him off, my mom called and said he was screaming bloody murder and wouldn't stop. That's NOT my Baby Joe. So off to urgent care we go at 10:30 at night. He's got an ear infection. Bummer. So he has been on Amoxicillin since then. Yesterday he started acting worse. He screamed and screamed until he puked! Moaned and groaned all night. HUGE snotty nose, I mean it was down to his belly button when I got him outta his crib from his nap!! NO EXAGGERATIONS!!! (I know, SICK...just be glad I didn't take a picture ;D)

All day, my mommy-dar was going off. He was kinda retracting, but only sometimes. The medical assistant in me freaks because I ALWAYS think "worse case scenario"...Mom in me freaks cause I don't wanna be one of "those" moms. You know, the ones who take their kids in for EVERYTHING!! Well, I got over myself and decided to just take him in. I thought it would probably be nothing...just viral, since he's been on antibiotics for over a week now.

WRONG!!

Well, his other ear is WAY infected and bulging, oh ya, plus the RSV thing. Which is viral, but at least we know...And now I get to suck his nose out 5 times a day!! (Oh and they suctioned his nose out at the Dr...and he stopped breathing for like 15 seconds!! It took over 10 min to get it all out it was so thick!! Lovely) YIPEEE!!
